Refund policy

Mitorioshi Refund & Digital Content Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Mitorioshi sells digital downloadable products, including PDF guides, editable workbooks, worksheets, templates, AI prompt libraries and digital product bundles.

Because our products are supplied digitally, different cancellation and refund rules may apply compared with physical goods.

Nothing in this policy limits or removes any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer law.

1. Digital Downloads and the 14-Day Cancellation Right

If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you will normally have a statutory cancellation period.

However, Mitorioshi products are generally supplied immediately after purchase.

Where you request access to your digital content before the end of the cancellation period, we will ask you to:

  1. Expressly consent to the digital content being supplied immediately; and

  2. Acknowledge that once supply begins, you will lose your statutory right to cancel the purchase where applicable.

Where these requirements have been properly completed and supply of the digital content has begun, we do not normally provide a refund simply because you have changed your mind.

Your order confirmation should also record the relevant consent and acknowledgement.

If the legally required consent and acknowledgement have not been obtained, your statutory cancellation rights may still apply.

2. When We Will Consider a Refund

We will consider a refund, replacement, repair or other appropriate remedy where:

  • You have been charged more than once for the same transaction.

  • You have been charged an incorrect amount.

  • The supplied digital file is corrupted or cannot reasonably be accessed and we are unable to provide a working replacement.

  • The digital content is materially different from the product description provided when you purchased it.

  • The product does not provide functionality or compatibility that we specifically represented it would provide.

  • Mitorioshi did not have the legal right to supply the digital content.

  • Another refund or remedy is required under applicable consumer law.

3. Faulty Digital Content

UK consumers have statutory rights relating to paid digital content.

Digital content supplied by Mitorioshi should, where required by law:

  • Be of satisfactory quality.

  • Be fit for a particular purpose where the relevant legal requirements are satisfied.

  • Match the description provided when purchased.

If your purchased digital content does not meet the applicable legal requirements, please contact us.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to require us to repair or replace the digital content.

For example, where appropriate we may:

  • Provide a fresh download.

  • Replace a damaged or corrupted file.

  • Provide a corrected version.

  • Restore access to a purchased product.

The repair or replacement should be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you.

If repair or replacement is impossible or cannot be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to an appropriate price reduction.

Depending on the circumstances, that price reduction may amount to the full purchase price.

Other statutory remedies may apply where required by law.

4. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

If you believe you were:

  • Charged twice for the same order; or

  • Charged an amount different from the amount you agreed to pay,

please contact us with your order information.

Where we confirm that an incorrect or duplicate payment was taken, we will arrange the appropriate refund.

5. Situations Where We Do Not Normally Offer a Change-of-Mind Refund

Where immediate digital supply has begun after the legally required consent and acknowledgement have been obtained, we do not normally provide refunds because:

  • You changed your mind after purchasing the product.

  • You no longer need or want the product.

  • You accidentally purchased the wrong Mitorioshi product where the product was clearly and accurately described.

  • You expected a guaranteed academic result.

  • You expected guaranteed employment or an interview.

  • You expected guaranteed financial results.

  • You expected a guaranteed productivity improvement.

  • You did not use the product.

  • You did not follow the instructions provided.

  • You purchased a product that requires compatible software but your own software or device is incompatible, where the relevant compatibility requirements were clearly disclosed before purchase.

This does not apply where Mitorioshi has incorrectly described the product or its compatibility, or where applicable law gives you a statutory remedy.

6. AI Features and Third-Party Services

Some Mitorioshi products contain prompts or workflows intended for use with third-party AI services such as ChatGPT.

Purchasing a Mitorioshi product does not guarantee:

  • Continued access to a particular third-party AI service.

  • A specific AI feature remaining available.

  • A particular AI-generated result.

  • Academic success.

  • Employment.

  • Promotion.

  • Increased earnings.

  • A specific productivity outcome.

Third-party services may change their pricing, functionality, availability or terms independently of Mitorioshi.

A refund will not normally be provided solely because a third-party service changes its features or terms, unless the Mitorioshi product was materially misdescribed at the time of purchase or applicable consumer law requires another remedy.

If you have paid for a Mitorioshi product but:

  • Have not received the download.

  • Cannot open the download link.

  • Received a corrupted file.

  • Received the wrong file.

9. Approved Refunds

Where a refund is legally due and we agree that you are entitled to it, we will process it without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless you expressly agree otherwise.

The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in your account may also depend on your bank or payment provider.

10. Business Purchases

Some Mitorioshi products may also be purchased for professional or organisational use.

Certain statutory consumer rights described in this policy specifically apply to individuals acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

Business customers may therefore have different rights depending on the circumstances and the terms of their purchase.

Nothing in this section removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Your Statutory Rights

This Refund Policy operates alongside applicable UK consumer law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any statutory right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

If there is a conflict between this policy and a mandatory consumer-law requirement, the applicable law will take priority.
